Getting Great Content — On The Cheap!

There’s been a lot of debate lately about the price of content, and what a marketer should be willing to pay for it. Quality content does cost money, but it doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. As a Big Dumb Marketer, here are some tips I’ve learned to get great content for my niche websites, without spending all my profits on content – after all, I’ve got to have some money left for fun stuff, too!

Option #1 - Bidding Sites:
Be very clear about your requirements, and expect to spend some time searching for a good writer. you have chosen a winning bidder, USE THE ESCROW FUCTION!! That’s why it’s there. If all goes well you will soon have 10 great (hopefully) articles. This is a good way to test out new writers, and find one who will work well with you. For $100, you’ve got a good set of articles, that you own total rights to. $100 may seem like a lot, but in a few days we’ll be discussing how to make that money back, as well as multiple ways to use your content. 10 articles should be able to pay for themselves and then some when in the hands of a Big Dumb Markteter in the know.
